“I always like to have a bunch of cameras on me when shooting. Sometimes, there’s certain shots that you just want to capture on film, so when the moment calls I tend to have two 35mm cameras at the ready. Usually,  I have an SLR and a point and shoot. Something convenient with a built in flash. The point and shoot tends to be for the fast paced shots, the moments you can’t miss. It also makes for a great BTS camera too- something that gets picked up by the crew throughout the day. The SLR I tend to use when i’m taking my time a little more, when I can be a bit more precise and intentional with the kind of shot i’m trying to get.

With this shoot we knew we were shooting in a truly breath-taking location but I wanted to capture it in a way that felt almost surreal. There’s that ‘runners high’ that  we wanted to convey with the shots; to show the escapism running can give you. The collections tag-line ‘make space in your mind’ felt like a fun thing to try to capture. I wanted the haze and the heat of the shoot to come through but I knew I wanted to capture it in an analogue way. The more orange shots were shot with redscale 35mm film and a bunch of stacked prism filters to give it that other-worldly vibe, like un-explored territory. P&Co Active very much, feels the same for us as a company so it was fun trying to capture it.” - @leetimms
